Avoiding Bipolar Sales Disorder

In our book Safe Money Millionaire, Ethan and I talk a lot about avoiding the ups and the downs of the market… and we compare it to a roller coaster.

However, for agents There is another roller coaster with its own ups and downs.

It is the sales roller coaster.

You know the drill.

You don’t have any business, so you spend all your time prospecting…

Then you start getting leads and you start working them…

Pretty soon you are spending all of your time working on the leads and you stop prospecting…

Then you once you have finished working those leads you realize that you don’t have any new business and the whole thing starts all over again.

I call this cycle ‘bipolar sales disorder’ as you continue to swing back and forth from one extreme to the other, over and over and over.

That is one of the reasons we have focused a lot of effort on developing marketing systems that can be automated like our direct mail systems.

They allow you to continue to market and generate leads, even while you are busy with appointments.

That way, you always wake up with appointments and avoid the swings.

And that’s a good thing.

between winning and losing.

The same is true in business and marketing.  If you make
